Fry’s Food Stores in Phoenix is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to provide general maintenance, repair and support to assigned service calls, maintaining safety and aligning with Kroger values.

Daily duties include preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment, replacing components, operating service vehicles, and keeping accurate parts inventory, while communicating with store personnel and documenting work. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years’ proven electrical/mechanical maintenance experience and satisfactory overall performance.
• Ability to use manufacturer interface software
• Must hold and maintain a valid driver’s license
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, holidays and overtime when necessary

Responsibilities

• Drive independently to stores daily.
• Perform preventive maintenance on building and equipment.
• Troubleshoot issues and repair equipment.
• Assist in component replacement.
• Navigate electronic controls interfaces.
• Maintain organized parts inventory.
• Operate service vehicles and aerial lifts safely.
• Complete repair, labor, parts documentation promptly.
• Communicate with store personnel about equipment use.
• Audit registered store equipment lists.
• Adhere to department and company policies.
