Old Dominion Mechanical is seeking a Plumbing Mechanic for our Charlottesville location. The role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial plumbing systems across office spaces, retail, and industrial facilities.

Responsibilities include interpreting blueprints, using required tools, testing systems, and ensuring code compliance. The team collaborates with foremen and superintendents to deliver high-quality work while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the Commercial Plumbing industry.
• Ability to read, understand, and work from blueprints, specifications, and schematics.
• Must pass all pre-employment screenings.
• Must adhere to company policy and procedures.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial buildings.
• Review/interpret blueprints and drawings to determine layout of plumbing and materials.
• Identify and safely use required tools and equipment.
• Test and inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and perform repairs or replacements.
• Maintain documentation for building codes, installation requirements, and relevant legislation.
• Perform scheduled maintenance service on plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Ensure installations meet codes and manufacturer requirements.
• Keep daily reports and collaborate with team members for project completion.
• Comply with safety guidelines and regulations.
