Job summary

Jobot is seeking a highly skilled Plumber to join our commercial MEP team in Virginia. You will install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and residential buildings, reading blueprints and ensuring safety and code compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of plumbing experience, holds a valid driver's license, and can work independently or with a team. We offer competitive pay, health benefits, a 401(k)/ESOP retirement plan, PTO, and a company vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years work experience as Plumber or similar role.
• Current valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
• Perform basic mathematical operations rapidly.
• Operate plumbing equipment and use basic hand tools.
• Certification in plumbing or related field is a nice-to-have.
• Experience with commercial/industrial plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems and fixtures.
• Fit and repair various pipes (PVC, steel, copper).
• Inspect and test plumbing systems for safety, function, and code compliance.
• Handle customer queries and call-outs.
• Read blueprints and schematics for layouts.
• Diagnose and fix faults in plumbing systems and equipment.
• Monitor and manage plumbing supplies inventory.
• Collaborate with construction team on proper placements.
• Ensure installations/repairs meet code.
• Train junior team members when required.
