Job summary

TDIndustries is seeking a Service Technician II - Plumbing to install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems in commercial or residential settings. You will read blueprints to plan layouts and will cut, assemble, and install pipes with consideration for existing infrastructure.

The role requires reading schematics, performing water heater and boiler maintenance, and participating in on-call rotations. Two to five years of experience and a related two-year technical degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; a two-year technical degree is preferred.
• Must possess registrations, professional licenses, and/or certifications as mandated.
• Two to five years of experience as a Service Technician in plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose plumbing issues through observation, testing, and setup; disassemble and reassemble equipment for troubleshooting.
• Repair and install fixtures, piping, and backflow components; perform leak locating and line tracing.
• Service water heaters and boilers; perform maintenance and replacements as needed.
• Document invoicing data based on hours and materials used; manage stock on service vehicle.
• Safely operate a vehicle/trailer and adhere to safety policies.
• Read schematics and blueprints to plan layouts for plumbing systems.
