Job summary

TDIndustries, Inc. is seeking an experienced Service Plumbing Technician to install or retrofit plumbing in commercial/industrial settings, read blueprints, and provide technical support to technicians. The role includes safety adherence and guidance to peers.

The position offers a company vehicle, cell phone, comprehensive benefits, ESOP, 401K, on-call bonus, and generous paid holidays/PTO. Texas licensure is required; Journeyman/Master status preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience as a Service Plumbing Technician.
• Journeyman/Master Plumber Licensed Holder with the State of Texas required.

Responsibilities

• Handles plumbing repairs: stoppages/cabling, pumping and backflow testing/repair/replacement, fixture install/replacement and general troubleshooting or repair.
• Water heater maintenance/troubleshooting/replacement and boiler maintenance.
• Operates hand and power tools, gauges and testing equipment.
• Completes quoted projects with high quality while maintaining profitability and explains work to customers.
• Performs sub-contractor management on quoted projects and coordinates vendors.
• Participates in after-hours quoted projects as needed.
• Safely operates vehicles and adheres to fleet safety policies.
• Purchases parts, materials and issues purchase orders to suppliers and sub-contractors.
• Maintains equipment, tools, and inventory stock on service vehicle.
• Able to work effectively with app-based software
