You will perform preventive maintenance, document time and inventory, and support store operations with reliable, compliant service.

The role requires teamwork, strong communication, attention to detail and the ability to work varied shifts, including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift at least 25 lbs.
• Team oriented in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to handle changing assignments and projects.
• Ability to work varied schedules including nights, weekends and holidays; overtime may be required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong PC skills: Windows XP, MS Excel, MS Outlook and Kroger mainframe tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel independently.

Responsibilities

• Repair and install plumbing in stores, incl. drains, valve work, and heaters.
• Complete and submit accurate time reporting and vehicle inventory.
• Perform preventive maintenance in assigned stores at least twice per year.
• Ensure maintenance expenses stay within annual budget guidelines.
• Must be able to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
