Job summary

gpac is seeking an Experienced Plumbing Estimator for commercial construction projects. The role focuses on detailed takeoffs, pricing, subcontractor quotes, and transitioning estimates to project management. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in plumbing/heating estimation and strong Excel and estimating software skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of commercial experience in plumbing or heating estimation or completion of an approved apprenticeship with at least 3 years as a Journeyman.
• Proven 10 years of prior estimating experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints with strong knowledge of plumbing and piping installations.
• Strong math and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with estimating software (Estimation and/or Quicken experience preferred).
• Excellent communication skills for scope reviews and vendor negotiations.
• Valid Driver's License.
• High School Diploma or GED; Journeyman Plumber or HVAC license (or equivalent experience) required.
