Orkin is seeking a Commercial Pest Control Technician (Maintenance) in Lanham, MD. No industry experience is required as Orkin provides award-winning training to help you succeed. A valid driver's license is required, and the company will train you to obtain the pesticide license within the first 90 days.

You will work on a designated service route, focusing on safety, professionalism, and customer satisfaction while using Orkin Pro expertise to deliver effective pest management solutions.

Qualifications

• No experience required – we'll train you to be a Pro!
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)
• Ability to work in the field independently, manage route-based assignments and interact with customers

Responsibilities

• Complete our award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
• Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customer's location
• Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
• Meet with customers in their businesses or homes to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services
