Job summary

Orkin in Linthicum, MD is hiring a Commercial Pest Control Technician (Maintenance) to protect customer properties. You'll start with award-winning training and ride with a route, providing safe, effective pest management.

You will meet with customers, inspect interiors/exteriors, document actions, and discuss additional services. No industry experience required; a company vehicle, benefits, and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within 90 days (company paid).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willing to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.
• No prior pest control experience required; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Complete our award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers.
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities.
• Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment.
• Conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers.
• Meet with customers in their businesses or homes to explain actions taken and discuss additional services.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer's property and document actions in the handheld device.
