Job summary

Orkin is hiring entry-level professionals to join its team on local service routes. Training is paid, and you can begin a pest-control career with Orkin’s award-winning program.

You’ll learn to diagnose problems, plan treatments, and serve customers with safety and professionalism. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a pesticide license within 90 days.

Qualifications

• No experience required—we’ll train you to be a Pro!
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within first 90 days (company paid)
• Ability to work in the field independently and interact with customers in homes/businesses

Responsibilities

• Complete our award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
• Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory
• Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment
• Meet with customers to explain actions taken and discuss additional services for peace of mind
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s property and communicate actions taken with customers
