Job summary

Orkin is hiring motivated individuals to join our team as Pest Control Technicians. No pest control experience is required, and paid, hands-on training is provided to help you obtain the state pesticide license.

You will drive a company vehicle, inspect homes and businesses, identify pest problems, and perform pest control services while building strong customer relationships. You will need a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Ability to obtain the state pesticide license within the first 90 days; company-paid training provided.
• Valid driver's license and a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to customer homes and businesses on your route.
• Inspect homes, businesses, and properties for signs of pests and pest activity.
• Identify pest issues and determine appropriate treatment and prevention solutions.
• Perform interior and exterior pest control using company-provided products and equipment.
• Explain findings and recommendations clearly to customers.
• Provide professional customer service and pest prevention advice.
• Document services and communicate with customers using a smartphone or tablet.
