Job summary

Orkin is hiring entry-level professionals to become Orkin Pros, delivering pest protection with paid training and growth opportunities. You’ll start on a designated route, learn safe operation of a company vehicle, and help customers achieve peace of mind in their homes and businesses.

No prior pest control experience is required, as Orkin provides extensive training and tools to succeed. A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a pesticide license within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• No experience required — we’ll train you to be a Pro!
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license within the first 90 days of employment (company paid)

Responsibilities

• Complete our award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
• Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customer’s location
• Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment
• Meet with customers in their businesses or homes to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s property—don’t worry, we teach you how!
• Complete all required service-related documentation in a handheld device provided for speed and accuracy
