Responsibilities

The Orkin Pro commits to safely and professionally providing the highest level of protection and service to customers on a designated service route. Their career begins with in-depth, award-winning training that prepares them with the skills needed for daily route operations, scheduling, issue diagnosis, and treatment planning. With each customer, Orkin Pros work to understand problems and do the right thing to resolve them.

You will...

• Complete our award-winning training to learn the skills and knowledge required to serve our customers
• Prioritize safety in all responsibilities
• Follow a route schedule and daily operation schedule within an assigned territory and ensure timely and safe arrival at each customer’s location
• Operate a company vehicle safely and ensure cleanliness of the vehicle and equipment
• Conduct yourself with the utmost professionalism and integrity with customers and coworkers
• Serve as a problem solver for each customer with empathy by listening and understanding their needs, then utilizing Orkin Pro expertise to recommend the most efficient and innovative solutions
• Meet with customers in their businesses or homes to explain actions taken, ensure satisfaction, and discuss additional services for peace of mind about pest management
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s property—training provided!
• Communicate with customers about actions taken, satisfaction, and additional services
• Complete all required service documentation in a handheld device for speed and accuracy

• Shifts available:
• Sunday-Thursday 4am-12pm
• Tuesday - Saturday 4am-12pm

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• No experience required; training provided
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to obtain pesticide license within 90 days (company paid)
• Ability to work independently, manage routes, and interact with customers in their homes or businesses

Work Environment

Must meet physical requirements and perform duties safely with or without accommodations:

• Use of ladders within weight capacity
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Access crawl spaces, attics, rooftops, etc., including climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Wear PPE, sometimes including respirators
• Work in various weather conditions
