The Jonus Group is seeking an experienced Production Binding Underwriter specializing in Commercial and Personal Lines to join our dynamic team. This role offers an opportunity to inherit an established book of business with significant revenue potential and strong agent relationships.

The ideal candidate will have a proven underwriting track record, strong sales and marketing skills, and the ambition to grow and maintain a thriving client portfolio.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of commercial lines underwriting or brokerage experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in sales and marketing with ability to build client relationships.
• Licensing CPCU/CIC or comparable designations preferred.

Responsabilités

• Build, maintain, grow a book of business through new business production and renewals.
• Manage agency relationships and serve as primary client contact.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive business growth.
• Rate, quote, and bind risks for complex renewals and new business.
• Submit underwriting referrals to company brokerage facilities and management.
• Monitor KPIs and implement actions to improve hit rates, retention, and growth.
• Lead, train, and mentor Assistant and Associate Underwriters.
