Job summary

APAC Central Inc. in the United States is seeking a Commercial Paving Project Manager & Estimator to lead bid-to-closeout efforts for large paving and infrastructure projects.

You will analyze sites, develop comprehensive cost estimates, and manage client relationships while guiding teams to successful project delivery. The role emphasizes strategic estimation, bid management, and cross-functional collaboration with operations, construction, and sales teams to win work and execute projects with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum five years in construction, paving, and estimating with client-focused delivery.

Responsibilities

• Define scope and prepare takeoffs from blueprints and specs.
• Create detailed estimates for self-performed work.
• Develop new business and expand the customer base.
• Prepare winning bid packages and evaluate subcontractor quotes.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently with strong organization.
• Consult with clients and stakeholders to refine estimates.
• Visit sites to monitor progress and coordinate resources.
• Oversee safety, schedules, payroll reporting, and monthly billings.
• Review job costs daily/weekly/monthly; manage change orders.
• Collaborate on process improvements with the Lead Estimator.
• Assist with field measurements and material sourcing.
• Utilize MS Word/Excel, HCSS Heavy Bid, ViewPoint, Primavera, Trimble.
