Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Commercial Specialist to assist with dispatching commercial deliveries from order entry to dispatch, while maintaining the store's vehicle fleet and inventory. You will engage customers, perform outbound touches, and support sales growth in a fast-paced auto parts environment.

The role requires strong communication, basic MS Office skills, and the ability to work days/evenings/weekends as needed. Safety and inventory procedures are integral to daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Assist with dispatching and coordination of commercial deliveries from order creation to dispatched for delivery.
• Manage store vehicle fleet maintenance, safety checks, and general vehicle readiness.
• Conduct account stocking visits and Pro Sales flyer drops.
• Perform outbound calls, follow-ups, and basic account touchpoints.
• Perform customer deliveries as needed, following standard driver procedures.
• Lead organization and maintenance around the parts department, backroom, staging, and delivery areas.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist with sales.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase transaction value.
• Lead commercial program when CPP is not present (weekends as needed).
• Engage with walk-in customers to understand needs and recommend parts or services.
• Support onboarding and shadowing of new team members.
