Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Commercial Specialist to support CPP-led sales and coordinate parts deliveries. You will help manage the store’s vehicle fleet, safety checks, stock the backroom, and assist with upselling to increase transactions.

You will engage customers, perform basic account touchpoints, and may lead weekend programs when CPP is unavailable. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• ASE certification preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record (MVR).
• Prior automotive parts experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support CPP-led commercial sales and assist with dispatching deliveries.
• Manage store vehicle fleet maintenance and safety checks.
• Conduct account stocking visits and Pro Sales flyer drops.
• Perform outbound calls and basic account touchpoints.
• Lead organization of parts department, backroom, staging and delivery areas.
• Maintain product inventory knowledge and assist with upselling.
• Lead commercial program when CPP not present (weekends as needed).
• Engage walk-in customers and assist CPPs and GMs with tasks.
• Assist onboarding of new team members.
