Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Commercial Specialist to support CPP-led commercial sales, assist with dispatching and coordination of deliveries, and maintain the store vehicle fleet and backroom areas.

You will engage with customers, perform account touchpoints, and help manage inventory while focusing on upselling and cross-selling to boost transaction value. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• ASE Certification preferred, but not required.
• Experience in dispatching or logistics coordination.
• Proven sales ability.
• Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Ability to read safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist CPP-led commercial sales.
• Assist with dispatching and coordination of commercial deliveries from order creation to dispatched for delivery.
• Manage store vehicle fleet maintenance, safety checks, and general vehicle readiness.
• Conduct account stocking visits and Pro Sales flyer drops.
• Perform outbound calls, follow-ups, and basic account touchpoints.
• Perform customer deliveries following standard driver procedures.
• Lead organization and maintenance in parts department/backroom, staging, and delivery areas.
• Maintain knowledge of product inventory and new arrivals to assist sales.
• Assist in upselling and cross-selling products to increase average transaction value.
• Lead commercial program when CPP is not present.
