Job summary

Advance Auto Parts Inc. is seeking a Commercial Specialist to support CPP-led commercial sales, dispatch orders, and oversee the store’s vehicle fleet safety and readiness.

You will engage with commercial customers, perform account touchpoints, and contribute to upselling and cross-selling to raise the average transaction value. This role requires strong organization, multi-tasking, and knowledge of automotive systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; MVR certification required.
• Prior automotive parts experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manuals, and procedure documents.
• Strong customer service and sales skills for commercial customers.

Responsibilities

• Support CPP-led commercial sales and account touchpoints.
• Dispatch and coordinate commercial deliveries from order to dispatched.
• Manage store vehicle fleet, safety checks, and readiness.
• Conduct account stocking visits and Pro Sales flyer drops.
• Upsell and cross-sell to increase average transaction value.
• Lead the commercial program when CPP is not present (weekends as needed).
