Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Commercial Specialist to support CPP-led sales, dispatch coordination, and store operations. You will manage the store vehicle fleet, perform deliveries as needed, and assist with account visits and upselling to increase average ticket value.

The role requires strong organizational skills, basic inventory knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Flexibility to work days, evenings, and weekends is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work days, evenings, and weekends as needed.
• Speak and write English clearly; Spanish a plus.
• Read and interpret safety rules, maintenance instructions, and parts catalogs.
• Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Basic math skills and ability to use common fractions and decimals.
• Strong organizational abilities and inventory basics.
• Knowledge of dispatching and vehicle maintenance basics.
• Familiarity with automotive systems and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Support CPP-led commercial sales and dispatch coordination.
• Assist with dispatch of commercial deliveries from order to delivery.
• Manage store vehicle fleet maintenance and safety checks.
• Conduct account stocking visits and Pro Sales flyer drops.
• Perform outbound calls, follow-ups, and account touchpoints.
• Deliver orders as needed and maintain customer relationships.
• Organize parts department area, backroom, and delivery zones.
• Assist upselling and cross-selling to raise transaction value.
• Lead weekend/CPP-excluded commercial program as required.
• Engage walk-in customers and support inventory projects.
