Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a Commercial Parking Manager to oversee daily operations of one or more commercial parking facilities. You will supervise staff, manage client relationships, monitor revenue and expenses, and ensure safety and service quality.

The ideal candidate is organized, adaptable, and experienced in parking, hospitality, transportation, property management, or other customer-focused operations, with flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel between sites.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations for one or more commercial parking facilities.
  • Serve as primary operational contact for assigned clients and properties.
  • Build professional relationships with clients, address concerns promptly, and ensure contractual service requirements are met.
  • Prepare schedules and maintain appropriate staffing levels based on operational needs.
  • Monitor service quality, facility conditions, equipment, traffic flow, safety, and employee performance.
  • Conduct regular site visits and address operational issues, equipment problems, and process inefficiencies.
  • Monitor revenue, payroll, overtime, expenses, and other account-level financial information.
  • Review operational and financial reports for accuracy and investigate discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records and submit required reports by established deadlines.
  • Support budgeting, cost-control, revenue growth, and operational-improvement initiatives.
  • Recruit, onboard, train, coach, and supervise assigned employees.
  • Establish performance expectations and address performance or conduct concerns consistently.
  • Promote a respectful, inclusive, safe, and service-focused Work Environment.
  • Ensure employees follow company policies, client requirements, cash-handling procedures, and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with Operations, Human Resources, Payroll, Finance, Information Technology, vendors, and other departments.

  • Report accidents, injuries, property damage, safety hazards, and operational concerns promptly.
  • Assist with new account openings, transitions, special events, and other operational projects when required.

Commercial Parking Manager – [City]

Schedule: Full-time; Schedule may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and other hours based on operational needs

Classification: Exempt, subject to confirmation that the position satisfies all applicable salary and duties requirements

Base Pay Range:$55,000 - $70,000 per year

Additional Compensation:May be eligible for bonus opportunities under the terms of the applicable bonus plan

Pay Transparency and Equal Pay

The posted base-pay rate or range is a good-faith estimate of the wage or salary PMC reasonably expects to pay upon hire for this position and listed work location. Starting pay will be within the posted range based on relevant experience, Qualifications, and property assignment. The range covers the expected starting rates at all properties included in this posting.

Bonus opportunities, if offered, are separate from base salary and governed by the applicable bonus plan. Bonuses are not guaranteed.

Position Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations for one or more commercial parking facilities.

Driving and Travel Requirements
  • A valid driver’s license is required only when driving is an essential duty or a legitimate business requirement of the assignment.
  • Driving record that meets PMC’s standards for positions involving vehicle operation or business travel.
  • No more than three moving violations during the preceding three-year period.
  • Reliable means of traveling between assigned work locations.
  • Ability to travel locally and occasionally outside the assigned market when required.

Work Environment

The position requires regular interaction with employees, clients, customers, vendors, and members of the public.

Physical Requirements

The essential functions of this position may require:

  • Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods.
  • Frequently moving throughout parking facilities and client properties.
  • Using stairs and navigating parking garages, lots, booths, and office areas.
  • Bending, reaching, and occasionally lifting or moving items weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Operating a computer, mobile phone, and other office or parking equipment.
  • Maintaining awareness of moving vehicles, pedestrians, equipment, and changing facility conditions.
