Position Summary

The Commercial Parking Manager oversees the daily operations of one or multiple commercial parking facilities, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and excellent customer service. This role is responsible for staff management, revenue tracking, client relations, and operational compliance. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience in parking operations, customer service, and financial oversight.

Primary Objective

To ensure the efficient, profitable, and customer-focused operation of commercial parking facilities by overseeing daily management, staff performance, financial accountability, and client satisfaction. The Commercial Parking Manager is responsible for optimizing parking operations, maintaining safety and compliance, and delivering a seamless parking experience while driving revenue growth and operational excellence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management

Serve as the main point of contact with each property, fostering open communication, promptly addressing concerns, and ensuring contractual obligations are consistently met. Build trust with hotel stakeholders and proactively seek feedback to support service improvements and additional business opportunities.

Daily Operational Oversight

Handle scheduling, staffing, and quality assurance at each location. Conduct frequent site visits to identify and resolve operational issues—such as equipment malfunctions or process inefficiencies—while maintaining consistent standards of customer service.

Financial and Administrative Tasks

Track site-level revenue, payroll, and expenses to highlight trends or irregularities. Collaborate with the Regional Director on cost-control measures and accurate record‑keeping to keep each site financially sound and aligned with budget expectations.

Team Supervision and Training

Recruit and train hourly associates, set clear performance goals, and provide ongoing coaching. Model professional behavior and uphold company policies to maintain a supportive environment that promotes employee satisfaction and strong customer service outcomes.

Communication and Reporting

Provide regular status updates—including weekly summaries and performance reports—to inform the Regional Director of progress, challenges, and needs across all accounts. Use personal devices for rapid coordination in emergencies or time-sensitive situations.

Travel and Communication

Travel may be required for site visits, new account launches, and ongoing communication. Use a personal cell phone as needed to manage operational matters effectively.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Involve staff in planning, decision-making, and process improvement, while taking full responsibility for team performance. Maintain an open and accessible leadership style, provide regular feedback, and encourage professional growth.

Additional Responsibilities

Support the company’s overall operational and financial objectives. Attend required staff meetings, complete assigned training modules promptly, and work flexible hours as needed.

Knowledge and Critical Skills / Expertise

Competitive client management, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective training and leadership skills, payroll management expertise, technological proficiency, excellent communication and reporting abilities, and adaptability/flexibility.

Competency / Qualifications

High school diploma or GED. Minimum one year of supervisory and related customer service/hospitality experience. Preferred management or leadership training, certifications, or business education.

Certificates and Licenses

A valid driver's license and reliable transportation, with an acceptable motor vehicle record (no more than three moving violations in three years). Clean background check required.

Work Environment

Indoor and outdoor settings, collaboration with teams, vendors, and clients on‑site and in corporate environments. Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and moving vehicles.

Physical Demands

Extended periods of standing, walking, and lifting moderate weights. Vision requirements (clear distance and near vision, depth perception, focus adjustments).

Cell Phone Use

Employees may be required to use personal cell phones for work-related communication. Reimbursement follows company policy.
