Job summary

Tag Conservation is seeking a Commercial Painter for Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role includes painting interiors and exteriors of commercial buildings and applying epoxy coatings with slip resistance and anti-corrosion properties.

You will prepare surfaces, mix colors, and use sanding and sealing techniques. You may assist with power washing and sandblasting; travel to multiple destinations is required.

Commercial Painter Job Summary

We seek a reliable professional to join our team as a Commercial Painter. Applicants should have professional mixing and painting experience. You should also be familiar with epoxy coatings that protect industrial surfaces and provide specialized qualities, such as slip resistance, reflectivity, and anti-corrosion. In addition to painting commercial buildings, you may be asked to assist with power washing and sandblasting surfaces as part of various projects, so any experience with this type of equipment is a significant plus. We expect everyone on our crew to be clean and organized.

You must be able to perform various pre-painting tasks utilizing several techniques, including using sandpaper, wire brushes, abrasive blasting, scraping, filling holes, and washing walls to remove old paint and prepare surfaces. The painting will also involve filling holes and divots with putty, plaster, or caulk and then sealing cracks and corners where building materials meet to ensure that surfaces are not susceptible to moisture. It is also the responsibility of the commercial painter to apply various finishes to equipment, buildings, or other structures.
