ORION ORNAMENTAL IRON INC in Los Angeles is seeking a commercial painter to join our manufacturing team producing decorative items. You will handle exterior and interior painting in residential and light commercial settings.

The ideal candidate has experience in commercial painting, good communication and customer service, and the ability to lift up to 20 lbs; join a dedicated team focused on quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in commercial painting and/or remodeling/home repair.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment.
• Teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Paint exterior and interior surfaces in residential and light commercial settings.
• Identify materials and quantities for new orders.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary.
• Mix, match, and blend various paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and special protective coatings to achieve the desired color, consistency, and drying properties.
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks.
• Inspect paint jobs for quality.
• Spray base paint on iron and wood surfaces using spray guns.
• Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a commercial Painter to join our manufacturing team of decorative items! You will be preparing and performing professional exterior and interior painting jobs in a residential and light commercial setting.

You are an experienced commercial painter who’s looking to be part of an energetic and effective team. You believe in a job done right and take pride in delivering a quality service to customers. A positive attitude is a must!

Responsibilities:

• Paint using a proper applicator (spray painting, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques (hand painting antiquing
• Identify proper materials and quantities for new orders
