Kimmel Associates presents an opportunity with a global leader in AI-powered waste infrastructure. The Manager, Commercial Origination will drive regional growth by identifying, developing, and closing strategic opportunities with municipalities, waste haulers, and MRF operators.

The role requires extensive market knowledge of regional waste flows, contract structures, and stakeholder dynamics to structure complex partnerships and long-term value for customers and the company.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in commercial, business development, sales, or hybrid roles within waste, recycling, or related infrastructure sectors.
• Experience working with municipalities and public-sector stakeholders.
• Proven track record selling technology, equipment, infrastructure, or complex solutions with long sales cycles.

Responsibilities

• Identify, originate, and develop new commercial opportunities within the municipal solid waste and recycling sector.
• Build and maintain relationships with municipal decision-makers, waste haulers, facility owners, recyclers, and other market participants.
• Lead the commercial process from prospecting through negotiation, contracting, and deal execution.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and executive leadership to evaluate project feasibility and customer solutions.
• Educate customers on AI-enabled sortation technology and long-term infrastructure partnerships.
