Job summary

Flowserve Corporation is seeking a Supervisor within Commercial Operations to lead a team of sales professionals and drive rapid, accurate quotation activity for defined accounts. The role focuses on maintaining high responsiveness, quality of quotes, and smooth transfer of data to Order Management for execution.

The candidate will manage order review, commercial terms, and team development while ensuring adherence to Flowserve guidelines and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in inside/outside roles.
• Knowledge of process control markets and applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with a track record of timely completion of tasks.
• Experience reviewing commercial terms and basic contract implications.
• Familiarity with MS Office and business software packages.

Responsibilities

• Review RFQs and issue quotes for assigned products.
• Drive timely responsiveness to quotation opportunities and track response times.
• Review valve and actuation orders for completeness and correctness; assist with order entry.
• Ensure clean Order Transfer files are provided to Order Management on time.
• Coordinate and approve commercial terms of purchase orders/contracts and SAP generation.
• Develop and oversee a training program to enhance technical and commercial skills.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, and engineering to improve quotation effectiveness.
• Monitor pricing and quotation performance, including win/loss analysis.
