Job summary

Taylor Kline Inc. is seeking an experienced commercial Carpenter/Foreman to oversee on-site carpentry work in a commercial construction setting.

You will coordinate with the Superintendent, manage subcontractors and suppliers, and ensure client satisfaction while meeting project objectives. Candidates should bring leadership, scheduling, and multi-trade knowledge, with emphasis on efficient installation sequencing, safety, and quality control.

Qualifications

• Candidate must have prior experience in commercial carpentry and supervision.
• Strong leadership and scheduling abilities are required.
• Ability to coordinate with subs, vendors, and Superintendent on site.
• Knowledge of multiple trades and sequencing of installations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, construct, and repair wood structures following blueprints and specs.
• Determine material requirements from drawings and plans.
• Layout and assemble counters, cabinets, partitions, doors, and trim.
• Ensure quality by checking plumb, level, and alignment; adhere to codes.
• Maintain safe, clean work environment and manage tool inventories.
