Job summary

NorCal Builders is hiring a Working Foreman for commercial construction in the San Francisco Bay Area. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will perform journeyman carpentry alongside your crew while also owning scheduling, quality control, material coordination, and day-to-day supervision on site.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years supervising carpentry crews, strong problem-solving on site, and proven ability to coordinate subcontractors and read plans.

Qualifications

• Journeyman carpentry skills required.
• Experience supervising a crew on-site.
• Ability to read plans and translate into field work.
• Strong emphasis on safety compliance and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on carpentry work for commercial projects.
• Own project scheduling, quality control, and day-to-day supervision on site.
• Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractors.
• Mentor junior carpenters and ensure task assignments are met on time.
