Northern Air Mechanical Services is seeking experienced Commercial New Construction HVAC technicians to support projects from installation through lead roles. This position covers a range of experience levels, from installer to project lead, in new commercial construction settings.

The ideal candidate has a solid background in commercial HVAC installations, a sharp eye for detail, and a commitment to safety, quality, and on‑time project delivery. Excellent communication on site is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation.
• Current CFC Certification.
• Demonstrated ability to handle physical workload.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Clean MVR (driving record).
• Commitment to a drug-free workplace.

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems in new commercial buildings according to specifications and building codes.
• Coordinate with contractors and project managers to ensure timely completion of installation projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Ensure all installations are performed safely and effectively, meeting company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate utmost professionalism on job sites, showing respect to team members, partners, and other on-site representatives.
• Conduct initial system tests to ensure functionality and efficiency.
• Document installation processes and any issues encountered, providing detailed reports to project managers.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
• For job lead and lead installers, maintain excellent levels of communication, mentorship, and assistance to others.
