Job summary

Northern Air is seeking experienced Commercial New Construction HVAC technicians to support our growing project load in Fort Collins. This role covers installation across commercial sites from entry-level to lead installer responsibilities, with hands-on mentorship and in-house training.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of commercial HVAC installation experience, a current CFC certification, and a proven ability to work safely, communicate clearly, and meet tight deadlines on

Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems in new commercial buildings per specs and codes.
• Coordinate with contractors and project managers to meet schedules.
• Read blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Test systems for safety and efficiency.
• Document installation processes and issues for PMs.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Lead installers: mentor and assist others.

Job Summary:

We are seeking experienced Commercial New Construction HVAC technicians to help us continue to deliver exceptional service. Note that this position encompasses an application pool for all ranges of experience, from installation up through project leads/lead installers.

This position involves installing various types of HVAC systems in new commercial construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in commercial HVAC installations, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install HVAC systems in new commercial buildings according to specifications and building codes.
• Coordinate with contractors and project managers to ensure timely completion of installation projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
• Ensure all installations are performed safely and effectively, meeting company standards and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate utmost professionalism on job sites, demonstrating respect to team members, partners, and other on‑site representatives.
• Conduct initial system tests to ensure functionality and efficiency.
• Document installation processes and any issues encountered, providing detailed reports to project managers.
• Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
• For job lead and lead installers, maintain excellent levels of communication, mentorship, and assistance to others;

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation
• Current CFC Certification
• Demonstrated ability to handle physical workload

• Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
