Responsibilities

• Perform completion of work orders and maintenance requests, emergency repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Inspect properties regularly to ensure building systems (elevator, HVAC, fire, plumbing, electrical) are well maintained.
• Oversee maintenance or repairs by third party vendors to ensure proper scope of work.
• Respond quickly to emergency situations including after-hours calls.
• Perform other duties as needed as determined by Property Manager.

Seeking Commercial Maintenance Engineer to perform preventive maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and grounds on a commercial building portfolio throughout the Austin MSA. QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• High School Diploma or GED, preferably Associates Degree or other trade school experience
• Additional professional certifications are a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of direct work experience in commercial property maintenance and operations.
• Must be a professional, dependable, flexible, & accountable individual with effective communication skills, positive attitude, & excels at Tenant relations.
• Must be motivated, takes initiative to complete tasks without constant direct supervision.
• Must have knowledge of facility maintenance & repairs including but not limited to, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, pluming, lighting systems & other general repairs
• Must have reliable transportation & good driving record
• Must be able to pass pre-hire drug & background screening

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform completion of work orders and maintenance requests, emergency repairs & response calls, and preventative maintenance.
