Job summary

LINX is seeking a Low Voltage Technician to install, terminate, and test structured cabling on commercial construction projects in Colorado Springs, CO. Pay ranges from $20.00 to $29.00 per hour depending on tier and experience, with travel to various sites within the state and occasional nationwide assignments.

The role involves building MDF/IDF closets, pulling cables, and ensuring compliance with BICSI, NEC, and local codes.

Qualifications

• Must have professional working proficiency in English.
• Must be able to work on ladders and use power tools.
• Must pass a 7-year criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, and test structured cabling systems (CAT5e/6/6a, fiber, coax).
• Build and maintain MDFs/IDFs and rack systems; troubleshoot issues.
• Document installations to meet standards and project specs.
• Travel to job sites within the home state and occasionally elsewhere.
