Job summary

Summit State Bank is seeking a Loan Servicing Representative I-II for its Main Administrative Office in Santa Rosa, CA. This full-time, in-office role handles centralized loan services to reflect activity on the core system and general ledger, while delivering excellent customer service to borrowers and internal departments.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of commercial loan servicing experience with attention to detail, strong communication, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• One to three years of commercial loan servicing experience (SBA loan servicing experience a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Board commercial loans, including new loans, renewals, extensions, and modifications, onto the Bank’s core system.
• Process loan maintenance and monetary transactions, including funding, payments, disbursements, escrow activity, and payoffs.
• Perform daily general ledger reconciliations and review core system reports to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain insurance information and assist with flood insurance reviews.
• Track collateral documents and loan exceptions and maintain records.
• Prepare demand payoffs, process paid loans, and coordinate release of collateral.
• Process loan index rate changes and UCC continuations.
• Prepare servicing and vendor reports and organize document imaging for loan files.
• Provide responsive customer service to borrowers and internal partners; research and resolve issues.
