Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of commercial loan processing, loan operations, quality control, audit, compliance, credit review, or related banking experience.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial lending operations, loan documentation, and collateral requirements.
• Knowledge of C&I, CRE, Construction, SBA, and Participation loan products.
• Understanding of applicable federal and state lending regulations and compliance requirements.
• Ability to analyze complex loan documentation and identify documentation deficiencies and policy exceptions.
• Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy and organization.
• Advanced time management and multi-tasking capabilities with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across departments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, and other banking and loan operating systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
• Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, customer service, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Review complex commercial loan documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Perform quality control reviews of new and modified loan transactions, including C&I, CRE, Construction, SBA, Participation, and other products.
• Verify proper execution of loan documentation and support the approved credit structure.
• Identify documentation deficiencies, policy exceptions, and regulatory concerns and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Ensure loan files are complete and maintained according to Bank standards.
• Maintain strong internal controls to protect assets and collateral interests.
• Support audits, regulatory examinations, and compliance reviews with accurate information.
