Job summary

Unity Bank is seeking a Loan Quality Control Specialist in Augusta, WI to manage risk by performing quality control on commercial, real estate, and consumer loan documents. The role collaborates with Compliance, Lending and Internal Audit to address findings and improve processes.

Responsibilities include pre- and post-closing QC reviews, daily file maintenance, and FNMA portfolio balancing. Requires a high school diploma and 3+ years of loan documentation experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three (3) or more years of loan documentation experience or combination of education and experience preferred.
• Banking industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-closing quality control reviews verifying accuracy of loan documents to regulatory standards as well as internal controls and processes.
• Collaborate with Compliance, Lending, and Internal Audit to support and resolve audit findings and share recommendations for process improvements.
• Conduct daily loan file maintenance reviews.
• Balance and report the FNMA portfolio.
• Review loan files after information is uploaded into the core system.
• Maintain understanding of loan policy and regulatory requirements to identify policy exceptions.
