Job summary

Deerwood Bank in Mendota Heights, MN seeks a Commercial Loan Assistant for full-time, on-site work. You will support commercial lenders with pre-close and post-close tasks, coordinate loan closings, and assist with ongoing loan servicing to maintain current files.

Two years’ experience in commercial lending is preferred, along with strong organization, communication, and teamwork. Benefits include a comprehensive package and a competitive starting pay range.

Qualifications

• Preferred minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial loan origination or servicing.
• Strong written and oral customer relations skills.
• Strong organizational skills, responsibility and attention to detail.
• Ability to operate common office equipment and software.
• Collaborative teamwork across branches and lenders.

Responsibilities

• Fund loans, run transactions and pay invoices related to loan closings.
• Track collateral insurance and ticklers.
• Assist in pre-close underwriting tasks such as flood searches, title work, lien searches and credit reports.
• Review annual reviews with lenders and credit analyst; enter work requests for evaluations.
