Job summary

First Service Bank is seeking an experienced Commercial Loan Officer in Greenbrier to build lasting customer relationships, develop new lending opportunities, and provide lending solutions that support financial goals. You will help grow the bank’s presence in the Greenbrier market while delivering personal, community-focused service.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, knowledge of lending practices, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, manage, and grow a quality loan portfolio while maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Identify and develop new lending and deposit relationships within the Greenbrier market.
  • Meet with prospective and existing customers to understand their financial needs and recommend appropriate lending solutions.
  • Interview loan applicants and obtain necessary financial and credit information.
  • Evaluate loan requests, financial information, collateral, credit history, and other relevant factors to determine creditworthiness.
  • Structure loan requests in accordance with the Bank’s lending policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.
  • Work closely with Credit Analysts, Loan Assistants, and other team members throughout the lending process.
  • Monitor existing loan relationships and proactively address changes in credit quality, documentation, or customer needs.
  • Develop new business through referrals, networking, community involvement, and relationship-building activities.
  • Represent First Service Bank throughout the Greenbrier community and actively promote the Bank’s products and services.
  • Maintain knowledge of lending regulations, Bank policies, products, and industry trends.
  • Perform other lending and business development projects/tasks as assigned.
