Job summary

State Bank, a high‑performing community bank with significant assets and regional growth goals, seeks a Loan Documentation Specialist to support consumer, commercial, SBA, and agricultural lending. You will handle document preparation, compliance checks, and coordination with vendors and attorneys to ensure timely closings.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year in related roles, strong reading/writing skills, and attention to accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in related positions.
• Proficient in consumer and commercial loan documentation.
• Strong reading, writing, and grammar skills.
• Interpersonal and communicative abilities.
• Moderate math, computer, and typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble consumer, commercial (incl. SBA) and agricultural loan documents.
• Review checklists for compliance and accuracy.
• Interface with vendors to obtain required documentation to close loans.
• Prepare Letters of Engagement for appraisal/evaluation and track in Baker Hill.
• Interface with law firms for attorney prepared documents and fund loans.
• Create, transmit and revise loan documents using loan documentation software.
• Review executed loan documents for accuracy prior to funding; place holds and perfect liens.
