First Bank & Trust in Minnesota seeks an administrative professional to support Business/Commercial Bankers throughout the loan process, from application to funding.

The role requires an associate degree with 2 years of related experience, plus strong customer service, communication, and collaboration skills to interact with customers, bankers, title companies, and internal departments.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Experience with lending administration and documentation preferred.
• Knowledge of banking concepts, practices, and loan policy and guidelines.
• Exceptional customer service, communication, attention to detail, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Business/Commercial Bankers with loan and credit underwriting documentation including title work and appraisals.
• Initiate and build loan documentation using loan operating software; verify orders, collateral, disclosures, etc.
• Coordinate with bankers and internal departments to fulfill client requests and resolve inquiries.
• Follow procedures for processing business banking products from application to origination.
• Perform banking tasks such as advances, wire requests, lien releases, payments, and transfers.
• Monitor in-process files for complete documentation for underwriting.
• Provide loan payoffs and release collateral for paid files.
• Assist in preparing annual reviews and manage discrepancy lists.
• Stay updated on system/process/product/regulatory changes.
• Attend team meetings and training; adhere to policies and compliance requirements.
