Job summary

NBT Bancorp, Inc. is seeking a Business Banking Loan Administrator to support loan approvals, coordination with Relationship Managers, and ensure accurate documentation and compliance.

This role focuses on delivering professional service to internal teams and customers in a fast-paced commercial banking environment. You will review transaction structures, gather required information, and assist with loan closings, disbursements, and ongoing servicing.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or accounting preferred.
• Experience in Commercial, Credit, Retail, or Banking Operations preferred.
• Strong listening and communication skills with the ability to deliver quality customer service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and procedures.
• Review loan approvals and perform due diligence to meet terms and conditions, including collateral and related documents.
• Collaborate to facilitate loan closings and ensure proper documentation and disbursement.
• Maintain customer service activities with borrowers, attorneys, and agents; handle servicing issues.
• Perform general administrative duties and vault storage preparation; handle mail."
