Job summary

First Financial Bank NA is seeking a detail-oriented Document Assembler to ensure commercial loan files are complete, accurately indexed, and ready for digital archiving. You will support the Post Closing Audit team by delivering materials and auditing files, while generating routine reports to aid compliance.

The role requires an associate’s degree or 2 years of banking experience, strong computer skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or 2 years prior banking experience.
• Knowledge of commercial lending and leasing procedures, laws, and regulations.
• Strong computer proficiency with word processing and spreadsheets.
• Effective written and verbal communication, including email and voicemail etiquette.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated with problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to commute to the primary work location and occasional other work locations.
• Ability to remain seated for up to 75% of an 8-hour day.
• Ability to review information at close range.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Documentation – Organize and prepare commercial loan files for electronic filing.
• Index Files – Maintain competency with information access modules to index documents.
• Deliver Materials – Coordinate timely delivery to Post Closing Audit team.
• Audit Files – Review documentation for missing records and complete checklists.
• Generate Reports – Prepare and distribute routine reports for tracking and compliance.
• Support Teamwork – Collaborate with colleagues and assist with projects as needed.
