Job summary

The Symicor Group is seeking a Commercial Loan Closer/Servicer for a Houston, TX-based bank client. The role involves preparing loan documents, coordinating with attorneys, post-closing reviews, and loan funding duties in a high-volume environment.

The position offers up to $85,000 annually, with a benefits package. This is not a remote role and requires at least one year of loan operations experience and related accounting familiarity.

Qualifications

• One or more years of loan operations experience.
• Accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge or experience with Fiserv and DocLinks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Preparing commercial loan documents for closing (LaserPro).
• Work with outside attorneys to draft loan documents as needed.
• Verifying accuracy of all loan documents prior to loan closing.
• Preparing post-closing document review (terms and conditions).
• Processing loan payments and loan advances accurately and in a timely manner.
• Responding to internal and external customers regarding loan inquiries.
• Performing second-day review of multiple transactions to verify accuracy.
• Reconciliation of bank-controlled accounts.
• Initiating loan funding by deposit, check, or wire.
• Providing administration support to staff as required.
• Supporting invoice processing including entry in various forms, distribution, and scanning or photocopying.
• Responding to customer service calls and inquiries.
• Other duties as assigned.
