Job summary

The Symicor Group seeks a Sr. Commercial Loan Closer/Servicer for the Houston, TX area. The role focuses on closing and servicing commercial loans, ensuring accuracy and timely processing in a non-remote environment.

You will prepare closing documents, coordinate with attorneys, verify paperwork, and support post-closing activities while delivering excellent service to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One or more years of loan operations experience.
• Accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge or experience with Fiserv and Doc Links is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize workflow in a high-volume environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.

Responsibilities

• Preparing commercial loan documents for closing (LaserPro).
• Work with outside attorneys to draft loan documents as needed.
• Verifying accuracy of all loan documents prior to loan closing.
• Preparing post-closing document review (terms and conditions).
• Processing loan payments and loan advances accurately and in a timely manner.
• Responding to internal and external customers regarding loan inquiries.
• Performing second-day review of multiple transactions to verify accuracy.
• Reconciliation of bank-controlled accounts.
• Authenticating client wire instructions.
• Initiating loan funding by deposit, check, or wire.
• Providing administration support to staff as required.
• Supporting invoice processing including entry in various forms, distribution, and scanning or photocopying.
• Responding to customer service calls and inquiries.
• Other duties as assigned.
