Job summary

TMF is seeking a Loan Closer to manage closing, funding, and post-closing activities for commercial loans. The role ensures regulatory compliance, facilitates construction loans, and supports the full loan lifecycle from pre-closing through servicing.

The position requires strong knowledge of loan documentation, title review, and risk assessment, with experience in nonprofit contexts preferred and Notary Public commissioned in Texas as applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience
• 5 years of progressive experience in commercial loan documentation, closing, and funding
• Experience with nonprofit organizations and/or ministries preferred
• Notary Public commissioned in Texas is required (as applicable)

Responsibilities

• Prepare or engage outside counsel for loan documentation for new commercial loans, renewals, modifications, and construction financing
• Coordinate loan closings in compliance with laws and policies
• Review title commitments and searches; liaise with title companies, borrowers, and attorneys
• Disburse initial loan funding and complete post-closing activities
• Establish and maintain accurate loan system records and funding schedules
• Calculate loan payments, rate adjustments, and payoff quotes
• Provide ongoing loan servicing support and respond to inquiries
• Perform notarial services in Texas as required
