Job summary

Offit Kurman, an Am Law 200 firm, seeks a senior commercial litigation attorney with substantial first-chair trial experience to join and help grow its Los Angeles office.

The ideal candidate will serve as first chair in commercial or insurance defense matters, handle complex disputes in state and federal court, and lead hearings and dispositive motions while managing high-exposure cases. California practice growth will be a focus.

Qualifications

• Significant first-chair trial experience in commercial litigation.
• Demonstrated courtroom experience in state and/or federal courts.
• Strong motion practice and case management skills.
• Experience handling complex business disputes.
• Ability to independently manage matters from inception through resolution.

• Lead hearings, dispositive motions, discovery strategy, and trial preparation
• Manage high-exposure and heavily contested matters
• Contribute to the continued growth of the firm’s California litigation practice
