The successful candidate will handle a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters in state and federal courts, including contracts, business torts, fraud, fiduciary duties, and shareholder disputes, with direct partner access and substantial client exposure.

Qualifications

• Admitted to the California Bar.
• 4+ years of commercial litigation experience.
• Strong legal drafting, analytical and advocacy skills.
• Experience arguing motions.
• Experience taking and defending depositions.
• Experience preparing cases for trial.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions and discovery.

We are partnering with a prestigious Los Angeles law firm that is seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate to join its growing litigation practice.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated, high-value business disputes alongside respected litigators, with direct partner access, substantial client exposure, and genuine responsibility from day one.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will handle a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters in both state and federal courts, including:

• Breach of contract disputes
• Business tort litigation
• Partnership and shareholder disputes
• Fraud and misrepresentation claims
• Breach of fiduciary duty matters
• Unfair business practices claims

The role will involve drafting pleadings, motions and discovery, participating in depositions, hearings and mediations, supporting trial preparation, and advising clients on litigation strategy and risk management.

Requirements

• Admitted to the California Bar
• 4+ years of commercial litigation experience
• Strong legal drafting, analytical and advocacy skills
• Experience arguing motions
• Experience taking and defending depositions
• Experience preparing cases for trial
