Job summary

CF Legal Recruiting and Staffing is seeking a Jr-Level Real Estate & Commercial Litigation Attorney in New York City. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience handling matters from pleadings through trial in New York State Supreme Court and/or Federal Court.

You will draft pleadings, manage discovery, conduct legal research, draft motions, and assist with trial preparation while commuting to the NYC office five days per week.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience handling litigation matters from pleadings through trial in New York State Supreme Court and/or Federal Court.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technology and software systems.
• Ability to commute to our NYC office five days per week.

A forward-thinking real estate law firm with decades of experience representing clients in New York City residential and commercial real estate transactions is seeking a Jr-Level Real Estate & Commercial Litigation Attorney with 1-3 years of experience handling matters from pleadings through trial in New York State Supreme Court and/or Federal Courts. Appellate experience is preferred but not required.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will possess exceptional writing and analytical skills and be capable of independently managing all pre-trial aspects of complex real estate and commercial litigation. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, preparing and responding to discovery, conducting legal research, drafting motions, appearing at court conferences and motion hearings, taking and defending depositions, and assisting with trial preparation.
