Job summary

Stark & Stark in Hamilton, New Jersey, seeks a Litigation Associate for our Commercial Litigation group. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, self-directed, and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with professional growth opportunities.

The role covers all phases of commercial and creditors’ rights litigation, emphasizing pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion hearings. NJ/PA bars required; NY a plus; remote work options may apply.

Qualifications

• Background in real estate litigation and creditors’ rights litigation ideal
• Three to five years of experience in commercial real estate and/or creditors’ rights litigation
• Three to five years of trial experience, including two cases tried to conclusion
• Strong research and writing skills
• Strong negotiation and drafting skills
• Superior verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work autonomously or in a team
• Admission to the Pennsylvania and New Jersey bars; New York bar a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of commercial, real estate, and creditors’ rights litigation with emphasis on drafting pleadings, written discovery, depositions, and motions
• Experience with real estate lease disputes, equipment lease disputes, bank workouts, commercial foreclosures, replevin actions, and bankruptcy litigation is a plus
• Support the Commercial Litigation group in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and professionalism
