Job Details

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse portfolio of commercial litigation matters, including breach of fiduciary duty, contract disputes, and commercial mortgage foreclosure.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, arbitration, and mediation sessions.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Conduct legal research and provide legal opinions on complex commercial litigation matters.
• Work collaboratively with a team of skilled attorneys to develop litigation strategies.
• Participate in client meetings and provide regular case updates.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics.
• Continually stay updated with changes in the law and industry trends to provide accurate advice to clients.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school (graduated between 2020-2024).
• Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a focus on real estate litigation matters.
• Exceptional research, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven experience in drafting legal documents and representing clients in court.
• Proficient in using legal research tools and software.
• Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• A team player with the ability to work independently and under pressure.
