Job Details

What You’ll Do:

• Handle complex commercial and business litigation in state and federal courts


• Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, discovery requests and other substantive filings


• Manage written discovery, document production and e-discovery


• Take and defend depositions and work with expert witnesses


• Conduct legal research and develop case strategy


• Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations and trial preparation


• Work directly with clients on case strategy, risk and resolution


• Collaborate with experienced litigators on sophisticated, high-value disputes

What We’re Looking For:

• Approximately 3–7 years of commercial litigation experience


• Illinois Bar admission


• Strong legal research, writing and oral advocacy skills


• Experience managing discovery and substantive motion practice


• Deposition experience strongly preferred


• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills


• Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters in a fast-paced practice
